History

Thought I would do a little review, sort of, on our History book for my fellow homeschoolers.  We have already dropped a couple things this year that just were not working for us.  So, we are now using, "A Child's History of the world" for the rest of the year.  It is good.  Story form, which helps keep the kids interested.

A Child's History of the World , contains 91 chapters that start at the beginning of time and reach to the present, has had numerous revisions since its first appearance. A fairly good book, although if I had known that we were going to use this book for history this year I would have picked up the Lesson Manual and workbook as well.  We are just reading it at the moment and talking about it.  :D  Nothing too in depth.

Today, we learned about the Greeks and their form of writing which really interested my oldest son and spurred him on to want to know more about their way of writing, we are always learning.  :D   Things always seem to evolve and we sometimes go into little rabbit trails of different things.  Until next time, have a great day/evening.
