Homeschool Co-op Club - Survival Skills

At one of our homeschool Co-op Clubs we had a survival training session.  The kids learned out to collect branches, dig a hole to lay in, use the branches to make a shelter and how to be safe.

Just after the branches were collected.

Getting ready to dig the shelter.

Lego Fun!

We purchased some fun things for school from our local toy store.  A new lego kit happened to be one of those things.  The kids really enjoyed building lego creations.  In this play time they used the book that came with the kit to create these things.  But they also love to create with imagination too.

Here is Miss R. with her creation.

Mr. E with his little house and tree.  The house was in the book, the tree he created himself.

Here is Mr. L with his creation.

We also picked up a card game called Wheedle and a board game called Quirkle.  Such interesting names for games these days, lol.  We also got some more score sheets for Yahtzee too.  We love to play yahtzee.
