Growing Butterflies!

A group of homeschoolers ordered some butterfly larvae together.  We each ended up with 9 larvae and are all growing them and waiting for them to cacoon.  After they become butterflies we will release them.  They are painted ladies.  :)

Emerging, Yahooooooo!!!

So beautiful!!!  Look at the lovely wings!

This one had just dropped and the wings were drying.  :)

We now have six of them emerged, just a few more to go!  :)  So exciting, we will  probably be able to release them on the weekend.  I will do another post on the release next week.
