Barkerville and Cottonwood House

FINALLY!  After years of wanting to go to Barkerville we finally got to go.  It was a short trip but oh so much fun.  We saw a few of the outdoor shows, panned for gold, went on a coach ride, got to go to the olden time shops.  Ate some food and generally enjoyed ourselves.  We also stopped at a place on the way to Barkerville called Cottonwood House, it is really cool too and definitely worth stopping at if you ever get to go to Barkerville.  Here are a few pics of Barkerville and Cottonwood House.

Entering Wells, just outside of Barkerville.

A bear we saw on the way back to see Cottonwood House.

An old Horse carriage at Cottonwood House.

A Whiskey Jack, they were all over the campsite.  They took food right from our hands.

I have a ton more pictures but too many to post here.  Maybe in another post I can post a few more of the shows and shops.
